About us

La Ferme au Foie Gras was created in 1987 by Francine Laulanié, a native of southwest France, who wanted to bring her specialties to her adopted home town of Antibes. At the time, the shop mainly sold foie gras and wine.
In 2001, Marie-Rose Imberti and Thierry Missud took over the business and came up with the idea of creating a takeaway area.

To discover original, authentic specialities, Marie-Rose and Thierry hit the road to meet their producers, exploring local markets and market halls right down to the smallest villages. This ritual is perpetuated every year for several weeks, during which they criss-cross the southern regions in search of French-certified, natural-quality products. The range has expanded over the years, and they are constantly on the lookout for new products to better satisfy their customers.

Ideally located between the Provencal market and the marina of old Antibes, the store has built up a reputation over the years for both holidaymakers and local residents and workers.

Today, gourmet sandwiches have become one of our most popular specialties. Made from the store’s own products, the variety of sandwiches has been shaped over time by original customer suggestions.
The ” Dany Special ” was suggested by a loyal customer whose first name was Dany. He ordered his sandwich with foie gras, salad, smoked duck breast and a dash of olive oil. Added to the menu 20 years ago, it’s now La Ferme‘s signature Foie Gras sandwich.

Freshness and quality are the watchwords in our boutique.
